Khyber Pakhtunkhwa minister inaugurates work on reconstruction of jeep-able suspension bridge
Ankara, January 08, 2013 (PPI-OT): Khyber Pakhtunkhwa minister for Population welfare Saleem Khan formally inaugurated work on the reconstruction of jeep-able suspension bridge Preyit here the other day which will be completed with an estimated cost of Rs. 0.7 million. It’s worth mentioning here that the bridge was set on fire by unknown miscreants a few months before.
Addressing a public gathering on the occasion the provincial minister said that despite difficult situation and financial crisis the present government of Pakistan Peoples Party had taken concrete steps to provide the basic amenities of life to the pubic at their steps, and due to the public friendly policies of the government, people feel positive changes in their lives.
Touching upon the developmental projects initiated by the incumbent government in district Chitral Khan said that during the last five years there had been unprecedented developmental schemes in the district, and that’s why the popularity of PPP is increasing day by day in the area. “On the basis of the brilliant performance of the present government PPP would again come into power with overwhelming majority in the upcoming general elections”; he expressed the hope.
On this occasion hundreds of peoples of the locality having different political affiliations announced to join PPP with the commitment to be affiliated with the party for life long and to make all types of sacrifices for it.
Prominent among those were Sirajuddin and Rehmatullah of Jamat-e- Islami, Hasil Murad, Ayub Khan and Israrullah of Qawmi Watan Party and more than dozen workers of Muslim League Q. Addressing the gathering the new comers in the party and other elites of the locality expressed their feelings of gratitude to the provincial minister for initiating work on the reconstruction of the aforesaid bridge and assured him all possible support.
The gathering was also addressed by Hakeem Advocate, general secretary PPP Chitral, Sharif Hussian President PPP, sub division Chitarl and other party leaders.
