Korangi Association of Trade and Industry body on law, order meets

Karachi, December 18, 2012 (PPI-OT): Chairman, law and order sub-committee of Korangi Association of Trade and Industry (KATI), Nadim Khan has urged the government to take action against persons carrying arms without wearing any uniform.

Talking to newsmen, he said that carrying arms by plain cloth men creating panic among citizens. He said if they are employees of any law enforcing agencies then they must be directed to wear uniform.

About law and order situation, increasing threat of kidnapping, demand of ransom, he suggested that a committee should be established comprising of representatives of police, Rangers, FPCCI, KCCI, KAI, SAI, FBAATI, NKATI, SSHATI, BKATI headed by federal minister.

The proposed committee should be given a task to devise a plan to handle law and order situation. He appreciated Rangers’ successful operation against land grabbers in Bilal Colony and other parts of the city and urged Federal Minister for Interior.
