Last address of the Holy Prophet is a guide line for whole mankind: Naeem Sarfraz
Islamabad: Fazaldad Human Rights Institute Islamabad (FHRI) has organized one day teachers training workshop at Federal College of Education Islamabad on 26th May, 2011. A huge number of students and teachers participated. After the recitation of Holy Quran and Naat Sharif, Mr. Muhammad Ali Tariq, Manager Programs FHRI gave a brief organizational introduction and said that teachers are the builders of the nation’s pillars.
He explained that Fazaldad Institute has covered 155 locations so for all over the Pakistan including Azad Kashmir, FATA and Gilgit Baltistan and sensitized 1,000 (One thousand) Master trainer through diploma courses, in which participants were invited from Federal Judicial Academy, Police Colleges and academy, EDOs offices, Principals, NIPA and Ministry of Education etc, 70,000 (Seventy thousand) teachers has been trained through One teachers Training Workshops and more than 150,000 (One lac and fifty thousand) students has been sensitized through Youth Human Rights Days in all over Pakistan as mentioned.
He also explained about the attitude and communication style of a teacher and said that “An average teacher explains, a good teacher demonstrate and an ideal teacher inspires. Teacher is a guide, a leader and a role model for the students”.
Dr. Tanvir Kayani, Director Federal College of Education, has thrown a brief light on “What teachers can do?” and said that teachers should perform their duties with punctuality and treat every student like their own children and they should teach human rights as a part of the education system. She explained about teaching methodologies and techniques. She also added how to implement the methodologies of inter connecting class room and students guidance line.
Mr. Naeem Sarfraz, Chairman, Fazaldad Human Rights Institute, addressed the audience on “Human Rights in the 21st Century” and point out the entire climax of injustice, terrorism, intolerance and discriminations in the world. He said that Islam is a Religion of Peace and Tolerance. He also declared the solution that Last address of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) is a guide line for the whole mankind. He also opposed force marriages in the society in the light of last address and clear that this right has been given by Allah and Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) to all the mankind to select his own life partner on his own choice and the parent should agree on this.
He gave many examples. Every mankind is equal in the eyes of Allah and if there is any preference to any one that is because of “Taqwa” he said. He said that there is lack of tolerance in the society which causes the bloodshed and made the world full of terrorism, which need the changing of mindset towards countering extremism.
Mr. Hashim Abro, Instructor of Federal Judicial Academy Islamabad and a well known resource person of Fazaldad Human Rights Institute, addressed the participants on the topic of “Human Rights and Islam”. He enlightened different human rights in the light of Islam like Minorities Rights, Child Rights, Teachers Rights, Forced Marriages and Women Rights etc. He declared that Quran says, “Everyone is equal and also has equal rights”.
He gave many examples of Women Rights in different style like Hazrat Zainab (R.A), sister of Hazrat Imam Hassan and Hazrat Khadija (R.A), life partner of the Holy Prophet (S.A.W). He said that there is no word of discrimination against any human in the Quran on the basis of their religion, caste, colour and tribe etc. the main theme of his address was the awareness of human rights in the minds of students, teachers and the whole audience as well.
