Islamabad: Law Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar has emphasized that the establishment of a balanced society, where both men and women enjoy equal rights, is essential for the country’s development. Speaking at an event in Islamabad, he elaborated on the steps taken by the government, including the enactment of laws and the establishment of institutions aimed at combating violence against women.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Law Minister highlighted the necessity of changing societal behavior to achieve real progress. He underscored that while legislative measures are in place, achieving a truly balanced society requires more than just laws-it demands a transformation in how individuals perceive and treat one another. Tarar further emphasized that Islam inherently recognizes and upholds the rights of women, which should serve as a guiding principle for societal norms.
The minister’s remarks come at a time when the country is striving to enhance gender equality and empower women in all spheres of life. The gover
