Libyan FM, Tanzania counterpart discuss prospects of bilateral cooperation
Foreign Minister of Libya’s Government of National Accord (GNA) Mohamed Taher Siala met with his Tanzanian counterpart Palamagamba Kabudion on the sidelines of the Coordinators’ Meeting on the Implementation of the Follow-up Actions of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC), currently being held in Beijing.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways of enhancing cooperation between Libya and Tanzania. They also reviewed coordination on convening the next session of the joint committee between the two countries and provision of full support and protection for Libyan investments in Tanzania.
For his part, the Tanzanian minister affirmed provision of support for Libyan investments and the preservation of their ownership. He also accepted an invitation extended to him to visit Libya in the coming period.
