Islamabad: Mainly dry weather is expected in most parts of the country during the next twelve hours. However, partly cloudy to cloudy weather with rain, wind, and thunderstorms, along with light snowfall over high mountains, is likely to occur in Northern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, and adjoining hilly areas during the evening and night.
According to Radio Pakistan, day temperatures are likely to remain above normal in plain areas. The temperature recorded this morning in major cities was as follows: Islamabad and Muzaffarabad at fourteen degrees centigrade, Lahore and Karachi at twenty-two, Peshawar at twenty, Quetta at thirteen, Gilgit at twelve, and Murree at ten degrees centigrade.
The weather forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir predicts partly cloudy weather in Jammu, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramulla, while cold and dry with partly cloudy weather is expected in Srinagar. The temperatures recorded this morning in these areas were: Srinagar at twenty-four degrees centigrade, Jammu at thirty-one, Leh at minus thirteen, Pulwama and Shopian at seven, and Anantnag and Baramulla at eight degrees centigrade.
