Islamabad: Mainly dry weather is expected in most parts of the country, while conditions will be cold and partly cloudy in the hilly areas. However, light rain and thunderstorms may occur at isolated places in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan. Day temperatures in the plain areas are expected to remain above normal.
According to Radio Pakistan, the temperature recorded in major cities this morning was twelve degrees centigrade in Islamabad and Muzaffarabad, eighteen in Lahore, twenty-two in Karachi, seventeen in Peshawar, eleven in Quetta, and nine in both Gilgit and Murree.
The weather forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir indicates very cold and dry conditions in Srinagar, Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramula, with dry weather expected in Jammu. This morning’s temperatures were recorded at five degrees centigrade in Srinagar, Anantnag, and Shopian, fourteen in Jammu, minus-nine in Leh, and six and four in Pulwama and Baramula, respectively.
