In India, Muslims have been undergoing a critically adverse situation since 2014 when the Bharatiya Janata Party-led government came in to power.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Muslims have been facing hate speeches, mob violence, economic boycotts, discrimination, malicious campaigns, biased media trials and discriminatory laws over the first eight years.

All such crimes were witnessed last year when Hindu priest and BJP leaders incited violence and made genocide calls besides other crimes against Muslims including hijab ban on girl students, corona jihad and love Jihad.
