Islamabad: National Assembly resumed its session at the Parliament House in Islamabad this afternoon with Deputy Speaker Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah in the chair. The House passed 'The Iqbal Academy (Amendment) Bill, 2025', marking a significant legislative development.

According to Radio Pakistan, apart from passing the Iqbal Academy Bill, the House also introduced 'The Pakistan Airports Authority (Amendment) Bill, 2026'. Furthermore, the Islamabad Capital Territory Local Government (Amendment) Ordinance, 2026, was laid before the House for consideration.

The session concluded as the House was prorogued, wrapping up the legislative activities for the day.
