Karachi: In a major breakthrough against illegal allotment of state land and administrative corruption, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has successfully retrieved 350 acres of government land in Karachi.
According to Radio Pakistan, the recovered property is located in the Clifton Block-I and Block-II areas and holds a market value of approximately 423.5 billion rupees. The recovery was achieved following a rigorous inquiry and subsequent investigation by NAB.
During the formal proceedings, NAB Karachi managed to ensure the cancellation of all illegal allotments. The reclaimed sea-bed land has now been officially restored to the Government of Sindh, marking a significant achievement in the fight against corruption.
The successful operation was the result of a coordinated effort between NAB Karachi and the Board of Revenue, Sindh.
