Srinagar, January 18, 2013 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, All Parties Hurriyet Conference (APHC) leader and the Chairman of Islamic Political Party Jammu and Kashmir, Mohammad Yousuf Naqash has stressed early settlement of the Kashmir dispute in accordance with the aspirations of Kashmiri people.

Mohammad Yousuf Naqash in a statement issued in Srinagar stressed the Kashmiri people to speed up diplomatic efforts for international intervention and mediation to counter India’s unrealistic policy on Kashmir with the sole aim of securing right to self-determination.

He said that international intervention and mediation in respect of just, honourable and permanent solution of Kashmir dispute was inevitable given the international standing of the Kashmir dispute.

He urged Kashmiris to observe January 26, the Indian Republic Day, as black day because Kashmir was not a part of India. He said that India had forcibly subjugated Kashmir and was perpetrating brutal oppression to continue with this forced occupation.

Naqash, while remembering the brutal massacre of Gaw Kadal at the hands of Indian forces, strongly condemned it. He paid glowing tributes to Gaw Kadal and all other martyrs of Kashmir and added: If we really mean to glorify the supreme sacrifices of our martyrs we should resolve to continue the ongoing liberation movement till its complete success.
