National Disaster Management Authority has issued warning that Chenab River is likely to reach high to very high level flows due to heavy rainfall in catchment areas of the river Chenab during next twenty-four hours. The authority said possible flooding may result in inundation in low lying areas and damage of infrastructure. It said that all villages and towns near Marala, Khanki, Qadirabad and areas along the flood plain may be affected by increasing flows. Source: Radio Pakistan
