NDMA Issues Weather Advisory for March 17-25, Forecasts Rain and Thunderstorms Across Pakistan

Islamabad: National Disaster Management Authority has issued a weather advisory from tomorrow to Wednesday next, forecasting light to moderate rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms and windstorms across the country.

According to Radio Pakistan, the advisory predicts widespread rainfall, thunderstorms, and windstorms in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during the forecast period. The weather conditions are expected to bring significant changes to these regions, potentially affecting daily activities and transportation.

Isolated rainfall and thunderstorms are anticipated in Gilgit Baltistan, Azad Kashmir, and Balochistan. These areas may experience sporadic weather disturbances, but the overall impact is expected to be less severe compared to Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Meanwhile, Sindh is expected to experience mainly dry weather conditions. However, isolated rainfall and thunderstorms are forecasted in specific areas such as Sukkur, Larkana, Karachi, Hyderabad, and their surroundings during the forecast period. Residents in these areas should remain cautious and stay updated with local weather alerts.
