Kathmandu: Nepali Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has resigned following a series of anticorruption protests that resulted in 19 fatalities and left over 100 people injured. The protests have created a tumultuous environment in the country, pressuring the Prime Minister to step down.

According to Radio Pakistan, the demonstrations have drawn tens of thousands of people to the streets. Protesters have been blocking roads and setting fires to parliament and other government buildings, expressing their dissatisfaction with the current administration’s handling of corruption issues. The large-scale protests have significantly disrupted daily life and governmental operations in Nepal.
