‘No Child Left Behind’ Campaign Launched in Islamabad

Islamabad: The 'No Child Left Behind' campaign was launched in Islamabad today to ensure universal access to education. Minister for Education and Professional Training Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui was the chief guest on the occasion. Addressing the ceremony, he said education is a fundamental right of every child.

According to Radio Pakistan, Secretary Nadeem Mahbub stated that the campaign seeks to identify, enroll, and retain Out-of-School Children across Islamabad Capital Territory through a coordinated and collaborative approach. Under this initiative, comprehensive household surveys will be conducted in all Union Councils to ensure that every out-of-school child is identified and provided access to formal or non-formal education opportunities.

The Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training has called upon parents, community leaders, and civil society to actively support this initiative so that every child in Islamabad is enrolled in school and provided with quality learning opportunities.
