Islamabad: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar has stated that the comments made by Noreen Niazi, the sister of PTI’s founder, have ignited widespread public discontent. Addressing a public gathering in Lahore, he emphasized that her statements have been prominently featured by Indian media outlets.
According to Radio Pakistan, Minister Tarar underscored the significance of Pakistan’s integrity and national interests, alleging that certain factions are attempting to tarnish the nation’s image for political advantage. He criticized these elements for neglecting the issues facing Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and declared that the era of negative politics pursued by the PTI has ended.
Tarar remarked that those who endeavor to defame Pakistan have historically faced disgrace, asserting that Noreen Niazi’s actions to malign the country’s image will not be forgotten. He expressed confidence in Pakistan’s steady progress, highlighting the rising dignity and international standing of the nation.
The Minister further emphasized the commitment of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz to public service and the country’s development. He praised the dedication of PML-N’s women leaders in prioritizing public service and acknowledged the steadfast support of party workers during challenging times.
Addressing the Kashmir issue, Attaullah Tarar reiterated the Kashmiri people’s slogan, “Kashmir Banega Pakistan,” affirming that the hearts of Kashmiris worldwide are with Pakistan. He vowed to remember the sacrifices of those who migrated from Kashmir and to thwart any conspiracies against the Kashmir cause.
Highlighting the importance of the forthcoming elections in Kashmir, the Information Minister declared that the patriotism of Kashmiri migrants would remain unquestioned, and efforts to incite violence and unrest would be defeated.
