Pak Envoy to Emirates and Ruler of Fujairah discuss expanding Economic ties
Fujairah, August 22, 2012 (PPI-OT): Pakistan’s Ambassador to U.A.E Jamil Ahmed Khan Tuesday met with the member of the Supreme Council of the UAE and Ruler of Fujairah Shaikh Hamad Bin Mohammad Al Sharqi at the latter’s palace and extended Eid felicitations.
The dignitaries also exchanged views on current situation in the region and ever increasing necessity for collaboration and cooperation between the two countries, which enjoy excellent relations for centuries.
Emphasis was laid on enhancing efforts in the fields of science and technology as an engine for the development of the two countries as well as the region.
The Ruler also showed interest in harnessing Pakistan’s skills and expertise in the field of education, health and engineering to propel state-of-the-art development in Fujairah.
Pakistan’s envoy described various sectors in Pakistan that offered excellent opportunities for investment. His Highness Shaikh Hamad acknowledged and appreciated role of Pakistanis in the progress and development of UAE.
Alongside their pledges to cement and diversify economic ties, Pakistan’s envoy Jamil Ahmed Khan reiterated the warm and cordial relations that so happily exist between the two brotherly countries and its people.
Crown Prince and prominent Shaikhs were also present during the meeting.
