Pakistan’s Ambassador called on the Chief of Saudi Research and Marketing Group – Press Note issued
Islamabad: Pakistan’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, H.E. Muhammad Naeem Khan called on HRH Prince Faisal bin Salman, Chairman, Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SRMG) in his office today and discussed with him matters of mutual interest, says a press release received from Jeddah here today.
The Ambassador said that the leadership and the people of Pakistan hold the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, His Majesty, King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz in high esteem. He said that the recent visit of the President of Pakistan, Asif Ali Zardari has further strengthened the existing bonds of friendship and fraternity.
The Ambassador praised the dynamic, vibrant, and constructive role of the SRMG’s publication in the Saudi print media. The Ambassador said that mutual exchange of visits of journalists of both the countries will help in better understanding of each other and further strengthening relations. The Ambassador invited the Saudi journalists to visit Pakistan and work closely with their counterparts for benefiting from each other’s experiences and knowledge. He underlined the need for extended cooperation in the media outfits of the two countries.
HRH Prince Faisal bin Salman welcomed the Ambassador and congratulated him on the assumption of new responsibilities. He said that Saudi Arabia highly valued its relations with Pakistan which were deep rooted in history. He agreed that frequent interaction between the media persons of the two countries will be mutually beneficial.
HRH Prince Faisal bin Salman accepted the invitation extended by the Ambassador to visit Pakistan at a convenient time.
