Pakistan and Afghanistan have signed a draft convention for avoidance of double taxation between the two countries.
The convention was signed during the third round of negotiations on the Convention for Avoidance of Double Taxation between delegations of the two countries in Islamabad.
The Pakistani delegation was led by Director General, of FBR’s International Tax Operations, Sajidullah Siddiqui while the Afghan side was led by Director Revenue Legal Services, Nida Muhammad Seddiqi.
Speaking on the occasion, Chairman FBR Asim Ahmad expressed optimism that the Convention will further strengthen economic relations between the two brotherly countries.
