Islamabad: Pakistan and Ethiopia have reached an agreement to enhance cooperation in the sectors of education, science, and technology. This development emerged from a meeting held in Islamabad between Pakistan’s Federal Minister for Education, Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, and the Special Envoy and Ambassador Extraordinary of Ethiopia, Dr. Jemal Beker Abdula.
According to Radio Pakistan, the meeting underscored Pakistan’s commitment to its ‘Look Africa and Engage Africa’ policy, aiming to build strong bilateral ties with African nations across various sectors. Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui emphasized the importance of such collaborations in achieving mutual growth and development.
Dr. Jemal Beker, representing Ethiopia, highlighted the need for establishing institutional linkages between the two countries. Such partnerships are expected to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and expertise, thereby benefiting both nations.
