Islamabad: Pakistan and the United States have agreed to advance a balanced and mutually beneficial trade relationship. The agreement was reached during a virtual meeting between Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal Khan and Deputy U.S. Trade Representative Rick Switzer.
According to Radio Pakistan, the two officials discussed bilateral trade ties and explored new avenues of economic cooperation between the two countries. Rick Switzer appreciated Pakistan’s constructive role in promoting regional stability and acknowledged its efforts in facilitating dialogue during recent regional developments.
Responding to these remarks, Jam Kamal Khan reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to responsible global engagement and mediation. Both sides agreed that a reciprocal and forward-looking trade framework would contribute to sustainable economic engagement.
