Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar today spoke with EU High Representative Kaja Kallas. The two sides expressed deep concern on the recent regional developments in Iran and the wider Middle East. According to Radio Pakistan, Ishaq Dar underscored the need for dialogue, diplomacy, and de-escalation in addressing these issues. During their conversation, he also briefed the EU High Representative on the ongoing tensions between Pakistan and Afghanistan, and appreciated the EU's constructive engagement in the region. Both sides agreed to maintain close contact on the evolving regional situation, emphasizing the importance of cooperation and communication to manage the complexities of the region effectively.
