Pakistan Industrial and Traders Association Front terms petrol price hike Petrol bomb for economy and urge government to withdraw the increase
Lahore, March 01, 2013 (PPI-OT): Pakistan Industrial and Traders Association Front (PIAF), while terming the petrol price hike “petrol bomb” for the economy and urged the government to withdraw the increase. In a statement issued here, the PIAF Chairman Tahir Javed Malik, Senior Vice Chairman Khamis Saeed Butt and Vice Chairman Amjad Ali Jawa said that the recent hike in POL prices is massive and bound to push economy to the wall.
They said that it was very unfortunate that instead of giving relief to trade and industry, the government is destroying them. They said that if the hike is not withdrawn, the inflation will surge to unmanageable level.
