Pakistan Inflicts Comprehensive Defeat on India in Marka-e-Haq: DG ISPR

Rawalpindi: Pakistan inflicted a complete defeat on a significantly larger adversary in multi-domain operations during Marka-e-Haq, according to Director General Inter-Services Public Relations, Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry. Speaking at a news conference alongside Deputy Chief of Naval Staff Operations, Rear Admiral Shifaat Ali, and Deputy Chief of Air Staff Projects, Air Vice Marshal Tariq Ghazi, in Rawalpindi, Chaudhry highlighted the strategic outcomes of the operation.

According to Radio Pakistan, Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry elaborated on the ten strategic outcomes achieved in Marka-e-Haq. The first outcome dismantled India's narrative of labeling Pakistan as a source of terrorism, positioning Pakistan as a victim of state-sponsored terrorism. Chaudhry emphasized Pakistan's role as a security stabilizer in the region and criticized India's escalation based on fabricated reasons.

The DG ISPR outlined the third strategic outcome as the politicization of Indian military leadership and the militarization of Indian political leadership. He mentioned the global recognition of India's tactics to externalize internal issues while using terrorism as a tool. Chaudhry reiterated that Jammu and Kashmir remains an internationally recognized dispute with multiple UNSC resolutions addressing it.

In his briefing, Chaudhry exposed the Indian media's discredited information operations, highlighting the sixth outcome, which transformed the character of warfare encompassing multi-domain operations. He assured that Pakistan is prepared for warfare across all domains, including air, sea, land, information, and cyber.

Chaudhry pointed out Pakistan's resilience in combating traditional and non-traditional security threats, reaffirming deterrence between nuclear neighbors. He mentioned Pakistan's recognition as a geopolitically significant and responsible middle power, stressing the unbreakable synergy between the people, government, and armed forces.

Highlighting ongoing challenges, the DG ISPR accused India of using Afghanistan as a base for terrorism in Pakistan, noting a surge in terrorist incidents. He emphasized the armed forces' commitment to defending Pakistan's territorial integrity with national support.

Addressing questions, Chaudhry spoke on operation Ghazab lil-Haq, stating it temporarily paused as part of the national response against terrorism. He asserted that political dialogue is the prerogative of political parties, distancing the armed forces from political involvement.

Rear Admiral Shifaat Ali reported that Pakistan Navy's surveillance thwarted Indian attempts to harm Pakistan's maritime interests. Air Vice Marshal Tariq Ghazi disclosed that eight Indian fighter jets were shot down, and key Indian military infrastructure was targeted during Marka-e-Haq.
