Pakistan Railways, KP Govt Sign Framework Agreement on Railway Projects

Islamabad: Pakistan Railways and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government have signed a framework agreement to advance railway projects in the province.

According to Radio Pakistan, the agreement was signed in the presence of Minister for Railways Muhammad Hanif Abbasi and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Afridi in Islamabad today. The signing represents a step forward in enhancing the rail infrastructure within Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, aiming to improve connectivity and economic development in the region.

During the signing ceremony, Hanif Abbasi emphasized the importance of coordination between federal and provincial governments in improving public facilities and fostering development initiatives. The collaboration is expected to facilitate the execution of key railway projects, contributing to the broader economic goals of the province and the country.
