Islamabad: A meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Inter-Governmental Commercial Transactions was held in Islamabad today with Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar presiding. The committee approved the Commercial Agreement of Phase-I of the rail corridor connecting Karachi Port with Pipri station. This development is expected to alleviate congestion at Karachi Port. According to Radio Pakistan, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar highlighted during the meeting that Pakistan has revitalized its relations and engagements with regional partners. These partners are eager to strengthen trade and economic ties with Pakistan.
