Pakistan’s Mineral Wealth Offers Investment Opportunities, Says Jam

Islamabad: Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal has emphasized that Pakistan's mineral wealth, including gold, copper, and various industrial critical minerals, presents significant opportunities for investment. He made these remarks while speaking at the eleventh Belt and Road Initiative Summit in Hong Kong.

According to Radio Pakistan, Jam Kamal highlighted that Pakistan is in the process of modernizing its digital infrastructure to enhance high-tech resilience. The country is also focused on advancing climate-smart agriculture, green industry, and renewable energy. He stressed that building on the Belt and Road Initiative's green agenda, Pakistan is seeking deeper cooperation with partners like Hong Kong to focus on climate adaptation and sustainable growth.

The Minister reiterated Pakistan's commitment to creating an enabling business environment, fostering regional integration, and promoting inclusive growth. Jam Kamal assured that the investment frameworks in Pakistan are transparent and investor-friendly, further encouraging international participation in its mineral sector.
