Islamabad: A meeting of the Pakistan Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority was chaired by Minister of State Bilal Bin Saqib in Islamabad. Addressing the meeting, Saqib emphasized Pakistan's pivotal position in the global digital economy, highlighting the nation's young demographic, high rates of cryptocurrency adoption, and expanding base of digital talent. According to Radio Pakistan, Saqib noted that the transformation brought by the internet in the flow of information is analogous to the change tokenisation will bring to the flow of value. He stressed that countries that swiftly recognize and adapt to this shift by developing regulatory frameworks in line with technological advancements are poised to shape the future of global finance.
