PBC, ANF start one hour awareness programme titled “Zindagi Say Pyar”
Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation and Anti Narcotics Force, in a joint collaboration, have started one hour awareness programme titled “Zindagi Say Pyar”.
According to details, the programme will be aired daily from 03.00 pm to 04.00 pm at FM 101.
The objective of the programme is to create awareness about drugs among new generation so that they can avoid this curse.
Director General Radio Pakistan Samina Waqar, Controller Home Khalida Nuzhat, Deputy Director General Anti Narcotics Force Ghulam Qadir Thebo, Chief of Staff Brigadier Sheikh Muhammad Ali Haq, Director Muhammad Riaz Soomro participated in the programme.
Speaking in the programme, the Deputy Director General ANF thanked Radio Pakistan for initiating this programme.
He said drug addiction is badly affecting our society especially young generation and ANF is making all out efforts for eradication of this menace.
Speaking on the occasion, Director General Radio Pakistan Samina Waqar said Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation is a state institution and the awareness programme will continue to achieve ultimate goal.
She said this awareness programme is equally beneficial for all ages of people and also expressed her hope to on air this programme from all channels of Radio Pakistan.
She said every person should be the soldier of Anti Narcotics Force campaign to participate in good cause of drugs eradication.
At the end of the programme, Director General Radio Pakistan presented a souvenir to the ANF guests while Anti Narcotics Force also presented a shield to the Radio Pakistan’s Director General Samina Waqar.
