Lahore: Provincial Disaster Management Authority has warned of a severe heatwave across Punjab during the Eid-ul-Adha holidays.
According to Radio Pakistan, temperatures may reach 42°C in cities including Lahore and Rawalpindi, while southern districts such as Multan and Bahawalpur could experience temperatures up to 50°C.
The authority has advised citizens to avoid direct sunlight between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.
