Lahore: Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi called on Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif in Lahore today. They discussed in detail the overall law and order, and security situation in the country. According to Radio Pakistan, the Interior Minister briefed the Prime Minister about the steps being taken to maintain law and order in the country and protect citizens. He also discussed his upcoming visit to Tehran and sought the Prime Minister's guidance in this regard. The Interior Minister further apprised the Prime Minister of his important meetings held on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization conference in Kyrgyzstan. On this occasion, the Prime Minister emphasized close coordination and an integrated strategy among all relevant institutions to maintain law and order in the country and make security more effective.
