PM calls for joint efforts to combat extremism, division

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has emphasized the importance of following the teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad Sallalaho Aleyhe Wa Allehi Wassalam as a solution to all sorts of problems being faced by the country.

He was addressing an event marking Eid Milad-ul-Nabi Sallalaho Aleyhe Wa Allehi Wassalam in Lahore today.

The Prime Minister said the teachings of Hazrat Muhammad Sallalaho Aleyhe Wa Allehi Wassalam serve as a beacon for not only Muslims but for all people seeking guidance.

Shehbaz Sharif said that due to the blessing of Hazrat Muhammad Sallalaho Aleyhe Wa Allehi Wassalam, apart from Muslims, people of other religions are also living in Pakistan peacefully.

He also voiced strong support for the oppressed people of Kashmir and Palestine as millions of Muslims are being sacrificing their lives for the freedom of Kashmir and Palestine. He expressed hope that both Palestine and Kashmir will soon attain freedom and justice.

nded in Islamic principles, asserting that such a system is essential for Pakistan’s development.

Shehbaz Sharif urged people to play their due role in eliminating abuse and extremist tendencies from the society in light of teachings of Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad Sallalaho Aleyhe Wa Allehi Wassalam.

Shhebaz Sharif said the Holy Prophet Sallalaho Aleyhe Wa Allehi Wassalam gave us public welfare system based on high standards of morality.

He called for joint efforts to establish higher standards of morality in all sectors of Pakistan, including education, socio-economic, and commerce.

Highlighting importance of unity as per teachings of the Holy Quran, Shehbaz Sharif said division is the agenda of Pakistan’s enemies and we will have to foil this through collective efforts.

Alluding to salient features of a Muslim society, Prime Minister said protection of minorities and vulnerable is a pre-condition of an Islamic civic life.
