Islamabad: Mainly cold and dry weather is expected over most parts of the country during the next twelve hours. However, cloudy weather with light rain and light snow is likely at isolated places in Gilgit Baltistan, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, Murree, Galiyat, and surrounding areas. According to Radio Pakistan, the temperature in major cities was recorded this morning as follows: Islamabad at seven degrees centigrade, Lahore and Peshawar at nine, Karachi at sixteen, Quetta and Gilgit at two, Murree at minus one, and Muzaffarabad at five degrees centigrade. The weather forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir predicts cloudy weather with chances of rain and snow in Srinagar, Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramula, while partly cloudy weather with chances of rain is expected in Jammu. The temperatures recorded this morning were: Srinagar, Baramula, and Anantnag at two degrees centigrade, Pulwama and Shopian at one, Jammu at nine, and Leh at minus twelve.
