Islamabad: Mainly dry weather is expected in most parts of the country during the next twelve hours. However, cold weather is likely to prevail in the hilly areas during the morning and night hours. Partly cloudy weather is expected in the northern areas during evening and night. Day temperatures in the plain areas are expected to remain above normal. According to Radio Pakistan, the temperature of major cities recorded this morning were as follows: Islamabad ten degrees centigrade, Lahore eighteen, Karachi twenty-three, Peshawar fifteen, Quetta nine, Gilgit five, Murree seven, and Muzaffarabad twelve degrees centigrade. Further, the weather forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir predicts cold and dry, and partly cloudy weather during the afternoon in Srinagar, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramula, while Jammu is expected to experience dry conditions. Leh is forecasted to have cold and dry weather with partly cloudy skies. The temperatures recorded this morning in these areas were: Sr inagar and Shopian three degrees centigrade, Pulwama, Anantnag, and Baramula four degrees, Jammu twelve, and Leh minus ten degrees centigrade.
