Karachi, May 10, 2012 (PPI-OT): Trade and industry has strongly condemned the unruly incident in which a college principal was beaten by unscrupulous elements during intermediate examinations.

The Patron In-Chief Korangi Association of Trade and Industry (KATI), S M Muneer, Chairman Etesham Uddin, President All Karachi Industrial Alliance, Mian Zahid Hussain and Vice Chairmen, Hasham A Razzak and Tariq Malik have expressed their sheer dismay over failure of government to curb the ever increasing trend of unfair means in board examinations.

They said that beating of a respectable principal of local college by some students and outsiders for his brave act of curbing unfair means during intermediate examinations being held at the college premises was highly condemnable.

They demanded to the government to take lawful action against the activists and those culprits should be punished. They further demanded of the Governor Sindh, Chief Minister Sindh and Provincial Education Minister to deploy Rangers at the examination centers for not only to maintain law and order but to curb future incidents of violence.
