Islamabad, President Dr. Arif Alvi has called on foreign investors to explore the vast opportunities available in various sectors of Pakistan’s economy. This invitation was extended during a meeting with a delegation from Oxford Alumni, led by Haseeb Ahmad, comprising graduates from diverse business backgrounds.
According to Zameen.com, During the discussions, President Alvi highlighted the improved business climate in Pakistan, emphasizing the country’s growth as an emerging market. He outlined Pakistan’s efforts in boosting exports and exploring new markets for its products. The President also introduced the Specialized Investment Facilitation Cell (SIFC), a one-window facility designed to streamline and facilitate foreign investment in the country.
Simultaneously, Prime Minister Anwar ul Haq Kakar has made a heartfelt appeal to overseas Pakistanis to invest in their homeland. In a meeting with a delegation of overseas Pakistanis led by Nouman Mustafa, the PM promised comprehensive government support and facilities, emphasizing the administration’s focus on ensuring the rights of overseas Pakistanis.
The PM stressed the importance of legally and securely transferring remittances from Pakistanis abroad, as it is crucial for the nation’s progress. He expressed commitment to creating an environment conducive for overseas Pakistanis to actively contribute to the country’s development.
