President Dr. Arif Alvi has called for promoting Small and Medium Enterprises to address the issue of economic crisis of the country.
Addressing SMEs recognition ceremony in Islamabad on Monday, he said SMEs hold major share of industries in the world. He said SMEs with the help of information technology significant development can be achieved in the country.
Highlighting importance of cottage industry, the President said China has introduced manufacturing of all kinds of small products in cottage industry. He stressed on the need of women inclusion in all businesses and to utilize their abilities for development of the country.
The President said that he is making efforts to develop consensus among the political stakeholders to solve the issues of Pakistan. He said we should put our egos aside and move forward.
He underscored that a representative government with a new mandate can bring the country out of crisis.
