President Dr Arif Alvi says our youth should be trained and well apprised of the challenges of information explosion in the era of digitalization.

He was addressing a seminar titled ‘Digital Transformation: Political Economy of the Media’ in Islamabad on Friday.

He said the onslaught of information in the digital age has increased media’s capacity to destroy human beings.

The President said youth above thirteen years of age are more susceptible to the rampant misinformation and fake news so, we must start promoting thoughtfulness and sense of responsibility among children before they reach the teen age.

Earlier, a presentation was given highlighting the evolution and challenges of technology.
