President, PM pay tribute to Cadet Arif Ullah Shaheed

President Asif Ali Zardari has strongly condemned the attack on a mosque in Lakki Marwat.

In a statement, he paid tributes to PMA cadet Arif Ullah, who embraced martyrdom in the attack.

The President said our religion does not allow carrying out attacks on places of worship and mosques.

He said attacking the places of worship is a very cowardly and un-Islamic act.

The President also prayed for high ranks of the martyr and granting fortitude to the bereaved family.

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has also paid tribute to Cadet Arif Ullah of Pakistan Military Academy Kakul, who embraced martyrdom while bravely fighting the terrorists in Lakki Marwat.

In a statement, he offered prayers for the elevation of martyr and patience for the family.

He said Cadet Arif Ullah Shaheed set an example of valour and courage by foiling the attack on the innocent worshipers by the coward enemies.

The Prime Minister said the under training Cadet, who was on leave, could not tolerate that innocent citizens become a
target of terrorism.

He said the example of such spirit of patriotism and loyalty of Pakistan Army cannot be found anywhere in the world.

He said terrorists should know very well that they are unsuccessfully attempting to target the valiant young men, who have iron nerves.

He said Cadet Arif Ullah Shaheed and his family are the pride for the entire nation. He said Pakistani nation can never forget the sacrifices of its martyrs.

The Prime Minister expressed the resolve that war against the terrorism would continue until its complete elimination.

He said the whole nation is standing shoulder to shoulder by Armed Forces of Pakistan in the war against terrorism. He said terrorists can never succeed in their nefarious designs of spreading anarchy in the country in the presence of valiant jawans like Cadet Arif Ullah Shaheed.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Khwarij attacked a mosque in district Lakki Marwat during Maghrib prayer.

According to ISPR, under training gentleman cadet at Pakistan Military Academy Kakul, Ar
if Ullah, who was on leave at his hometown, was also present there, offering prayers in the same Mosque.

As soon as Khwarij started firing, he immediately responded and fought the khwarij bravely.

However, during the incident, nineteen years old gentleman Cadet Arif Ullah embraced martyrdom sacrificing his life, while saving many innocent lives of worshippers.
