Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari has officially given his assent to four significant legislative bills. The approved bills are The Carriage by Air (Amendment) Bill, 2026, The Pakistan Airports Authority (Amendment) Bill, 2026, The Fiscal Responsibility and Debt Limitation (Amendment) Bill, 2026, and the Iqbal Academy (Amendment) Bill, 2026.

According to Radio Pakistan, alongside these legislative developments, President Zardari has confirmed the appointment of Ms. Ayesha Humaira Chaudhry as a member of the Federal Public Service Commission. This appointment is expected to strengthen the commission's efforts in maintaining transparency and efficiency.
