Srinagar, March 21, 2016 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the residents and traders of Bandipora on Monday staged a protest against the anti-people policies of the authorities. Protesting people condemned the authorities for failing to providing basic amenities to the people. The protest was held in old bus stand. The protesters threatened agitation and shutdown if the problems were not resolved.

“Local employees have turned Bandipora into den of corruption and made it defunct public office,” the protesters said. “Every nook and corner even main market is now a garbage dump, authorities have failed in all respects,” said Bashir Ahmed, a protester. “The administration is infamous for its failure in delivering on public health measures and all pervading corruption in its activities,” they said while asking the authorities to look into the matter.
