Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar has issued an alert in view of threat of flooding in Nullah Leh of Rawalpindi.

The Chief Minister has asked the Rescue 1122 to put in place all the arrangements to deal with any emergency like situation.

The Chief Minister said the report should be submitted after drainage of water in low lying areas.

Meanwhile, the Deputy Commissioner Islamabad has said that spillways of Rawal Dam are being opened. Announcements are being made in mosques asking the people to stay away from the banks of Soan and Korang rivers.
