Punjab University Vice-Chancellor visits theses display of Bachelor of Fine Arts final year students at College of Art and Design
Lahore: Punjab University Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran visited the theses exhibition of Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) final year students at College of Art and Design (CAD), Allama Iqbal (Old) Campus. College Principal Prof Dr Rahat Naveed Masud, College of Information Technology Principal Prof Dr Syed Mansoor Sarwar, college faculty members and a large number of students were present on the occasion.
Talking to media after the visit, Vice-Chancellor Dr Mujahid Kamran said the creative, effective and quality work of students, relating to advertising, put on display was much appreciable. He said the students’ work was reflection of their creative faculties and it could be compared to the work of national and international level. He appreciated the hard work and commitment of college’s teachers to polish the creative skills of students.
College Principal Dr Rahat Naveed Masud said the students of graphic design, painting and sculpture, in their quality work, have highlighted various aspects of woman’s life. He thanked the Vice-Chancellor and said his arrival had encouraged the students.
Project Head Israr Chishti said the objective of exhibition was to promote students’ skills and make them capable to communicate their message to general public easily through their work in the professional lives.
