Qaim Ali Shah visits residence of Rafiq engineer
Karachi, March 05, 2013 (PPI-OT): Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah today went to the residence of his Cabinet member and Sindh Minister for Archives and Special Education Advocate Rafiq Engineer, who died early this morning due to heart attack. Provincial Ministers – Pir Mazharul Haq, Jam Mehtab Dahar, Dr. Mohan Lal, other ministers, advisors, were also present. Chief Minister Sindh expressed his deep sorrows and grief on demise of his colleague Engineer Rafiq.
He also went in the family and saw the last “deedar” of devoted party worker. He also met with bereaved family members and offered Dua from Almighty Allah to depart the soul in eternal peace. Later, talking to media, the Chief Minister Sindh said that Engineer Rafiq was a devoted and dedicated worker of PPP and he had participated in long struggle for restoration and strengthening of democracy in the country. Syed Qaim Ali Shah added that late Engineer Rafiq worked hard since his childhood and participated in Peoples Students Federation.
He said that inspite of passing examination of Engineering, Advocate Rafiq Engineer passed LLB and was a good lawyer and assisted party in many legal matters. Syed Qaim Ali Shah further said that he was not only a worker but an asset of party, and his services to party and party workers will long be remembered. He further said the Engineer Rafiq had also worked for the development of Lyari area and always raised voice for issues and problems of people of Lyari.
