Qaim grieved over the sad demise of Fauzia Wahab
Karachi, June 17, 2012 (PPI-OT): Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah expressed heartfelt grief and sorrow over the demise of Ms. Fouzia
Wahab, MNA of Pakistan People’s Party, calling it a great loss to the party and democracy in the country. He prayed to Almighty Allah to rest her soul in eternal peace and give fortitude to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss. He said that we equally share the grief of her sad and sudden demise with her family.
In his condolence message, the Chief Minister Sindh paid rich tributes to her services for the party saying that she braved difficult situations during dictatorial periods and remained steadfast at all the difficult circumstances. She was a passionate and moderate political leader. Her services to the party would be long remembered.
Syed Qaim Ali Shah added that Ms. Fauzia Wahab struggled practically for the rights of womenfolk and human rights in the country as envisioned by Shaheed Mohtrama Benazir Bhutto. Her services to strengthen democracy and democratic institutions in the country will be remembered for long time, Chief Minister said.
