Resource Development Institute imparting training to 300 Jobless Youth
Islamabad, December 04, 2012 (PPI-OT): Three hundred low educated jobless youth are being imparted technical and vocational training in the fields of Auto Cad, Electrician, and Civil Surveyor at Resource Development Institute (RDI) at Rawat, a subsidiary of the National Foundation for Resource Development (NFRD). Free of cost training is being given to these youth under Prime Minister’s Special Hunarmand Pakistan Programme. Moreover boarding and lodging facility is totally free besides Rs.2,000/- monthly stipend per trainee is also being paid.
Training to these 300 youth is being funded by the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC), Prime Minister Secretariat (Public) Islamabad, said Col. Murtaza Ali Shah Managing Director NFRD during his special briefing to Chairman NAVTTC about the RDI Rawat.
Muhammad Mumtaz Akhtar Kahloon appreciated the efforts of Managing Director, NFRD and staff of RDI in providing quality training to trainees. Chairman NAVTTC during his brief address to the students elaborated the efforts of present government under which the unemployed youth are being given technical and Vocational training free of cost to enable them earn respectable living for themselves.
The Chairman advised the students to work hard and learn the skills with keen interest to get maximum benefit in their practical professional life. Earlier, upon arrival, Chairman NAVTTC was welcomed by the Managing Director NFRD and the staff of NFRD and the RDI. The Chairman praised the training system of RDI and institute’s facilities being provided to students.
