Restoration of Islamabad High Court boosts investment and business activities: Mahfooz Elahi
Islamabad: A delegation of Islamabad High Court Bar Association led by its President Chaudhry Ashraf Gujar has visited Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI). Rana Ghulam Asghar, Rana Sabar Ali, Ch. Zubair Mehmud, Malik Waqar Haider, Rana Ishtiaq, Khurram Mehmud, Munawar Mughal and other senior members of ICCI were also present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Mahfooz Elahi, President ICCI congratulated the newly elected members of Islamabad High Court Bar Association and said that restoration of Islamabad High Court has boosted investment and business activities as promotion of investment and growth of businesses was directly linked with a fair and independent judicial system.
He said that Islamabad High Court has greatly facilitated the business community for early settlement of their court cases.
Chaudhry Ashraf Gujar, President, Islamabad High Court Bar Association said that it established after long struggle of lawyers community as it was the genuine need of all residents of federal capital. He assured full support of lawyer’s community for execution of balanced Rent Control Act.
He appreciated the efforts of business community for restoration of Islamabad High Court Bar. He said that judges of High Court Bar should have domicile of Islamabad.
President, Islamabad High Court Bar Association said that civil societies and associations should be gathered at one platform to get speedy justice. He also said that common housing scheme should be initiated for business and lawyers community.
