All Parties Hurriyat Conference-Azad Jammu and Kashmir chapter has strongly denounced crackdown on political activists and religious scholars by Indian authorities under infamous Public Safety Act in the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
In a statement in Islamabad, the Convener of All Parties Hurriyat Conference-Azad Jammu and Kashmir chapter, Mehmood Ahmed Saghar, said arresting Kashmiris under notorious laws is an old tactic of India to suppress political voices in the occupied territory.
He urged the world human rights bodies to take notice of the fast deteriorating political and human rights situation in the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
Mehmood Ahmed said it is high time that the civilized world should break its silence and play its much needed role to mitigate the unending sufferings of Kashmiris.
