Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Chaudhary Salik Hussain met with Saudi Minister for Hajj and Umrah Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah in Jeddah today.
They held a detailed discussion regarding bilateral relations and arrangements for the upcoming Hajj.
Chaudhry Salik Hussain commended the Saudi Government for extending the best facilities to the intending pilgrims.
He also appreciated the innovative reforms of the Saudi authorities for the facilitation of Hujjaj arriving in the Kingdom from across the globe.
He said Saudi companies are offering the best services to the pilgrims.
During the meeting, the Pakistan Minister termed progress on new Pakistan Houses in Makkah and Madinah as positive.
Chaudhry Salik Hussain expressed concern over the pending transport contracts of forty thousand private pilgrims upon which the Saudi Hajj Minister assured him that the matter will be resolved in next four days.
He urged the Pakistani Hajj group operators to follow the directives of the Saudi G
overnment otherwise action will be taken against them.
