Secretary Kerry to Deliver Remarks at the Women’s Foreign Policy Group


U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry will address the Women’s Foreign Policy Group at 12:45 p.m. on Tuesday, November 29, at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Washington, DC.

Secretary Kerry will address the importance of diplomacy in pursuit of U.S. foreign policy objectives, highlighting the many accomplishments of the last several years. The Secretary will also outline our country’s historic role in supporting development and growth across the globe, and the need for a broader commitment to investing in foreign aid and assistance programs that build infrastructure, reduce poverty, expand access to education, and spur prosperity, security, and stability.

Following Secretary Kerry’s remarks, he will participate in a Q+A session with Washington Post Senior National Security Correspondent Karen DeYoung.

Secretary Kerry’s participation will be open to the press.
